Terms

Last changed 20 October 2026.

These are the terms for venues using Bartools, run by Tommy, and for the managers who run it for them. By signing up or joining a venue you agree to them and to the privacy policy.

Using Bartools

  • Bartools is for training your own staff on your own menu. It's free for now; if that changes, you'll be told first and can leave.
  • You're responsible for what you put in: your menu, your questions, your staff's names, and who you invite to help run it. Keep your login to yourself.
  • Don't use it to upload anything unlawful or anyone else's personal data beyond your staff's first names.
  • It's provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but can't promise it will never be unavailable or wrong (check what the menu reader finds before your team learns it).

Your staff's data

Your venue is the controller of its staff's data, and Bartools is your processor. That means Bartools will:

  • use it only to run your venue's quizzes and results;
  • keep it secure, and let only you and the admins you invite see it;
  • delete a removed staff member's data 12 months after removal (or when you delete it), and everything when you delete your venue (backups roll off within 30 days);
  • let you download or delete your data at any time;
  • keep it confidential: only whoever runs Bartools can reach it, to keep the service working, and helps you answer any staff member's request about their data;
  • tell you without delay if there's a breach affecting it;
  • use only the companies listed in the privacy policy to help, and tell you before adding another.

You'll tell your staff how their data is used: their quiz screen links to the privacy policy, which explains it.

Ending

You can delete your venue or your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why. Questions: contact@tapps.vip.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
